Rooster_Ties Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 (edited) Quote from this thread: http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=153088 It is a photo found in the archive of fashion and arts photographer Tom Palumbo. He had shot numerous smiling poses of Miles Davis around 1955/56. This picture was in with them . . . http://img201.imagevenue.com/img.php?image...e_122_553lo.jpg http://img177.imagevenue.com/img.php?image...2_122_521lo.jpg This hasn't been seen before and I have permission from the Palumbo photo archivist to send it out there. Some jazz historians think it is him, the Coltrane Foundation think that it is not. I am mixed, leaning toward a negative. Edited July 1, 2008 by Rooster_Ties Quote
Aggie87 Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 Why would it be anybody famous in particular? It clearly isn't Coltrane (to me). But it could be anybody else. Is there a reason you think it's someone famous? Quote

Is there a reason you think it's someone famous? I'm not saying it is anybody famous -- just a mystery photo on another board. ...and if it was a musician, then I thought people here might know.
