I guess we can't be surprised. Must be big money in it.

People should consider collecting old paper money. I've collected it from various countries throughout my life, and I think it is easier to tell counterfeit paper money. Of course, technology is improving which allows people to be more effective counterfeiters. Caveat emptor!

I think a better idea would be to collect something that just isn't worth counterfeiting. After all, it's the search and the chase that matters. If someone has to have high value to justify their collecting, they're not a true believer anyway.

As long as they make less, maybe the Chinese Counterfeits be more valuable than the originals. We'd all better hedge our bets and buy both.

Well, until they reach prices a bit higher than the current two or three bucks, I'm not going to sweat the idea of finding counterfeits in my SF paperbacks...
