sidewinder Posted January 9, 2009 Author Report Posted January 9, 2009 Robert Palmer was a witness? The UFO must have found the turbine to be Simply Irresistable. And maybe a rendition of 'Looking For Clues' as a follow-up? Quote
BruceH Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 I like that they've narrowed it down to either a UFO or a flying cow. Quote
Aggie87 Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 I like that they've narrowed it down to either a UFO or a flying cow. Maybe Roger Waters was in town? Quote
sidewinder Posted January 10, 2009 Author Report Posted January 10, 2009 Doesn't Roger come from eastern England? Latest news is that the bits have ben sent to the German lab for analysis: Report I put the light stories down to the local fireworks display. It's possible though that the MoD were test flying development UAVs over the Lincolnshire ranges. If it had hit the turbine though we'd have a pile of bits in the locality so that theory is a non-sterter. Low temperature effects and fatigue fracture odds-on bet. Quote
