In older discographical sources, they used the term "rejected" rather deliberately - sometimes the tapes had been preserved, sometimes not. Later on, they used a clearer vocabulary indicating if the tapes were lost or not, rejected or simply unissued.

Cuscuna sometimes reconsidered his own or Alfred Lion's decisions.

In other words, that Turrentine disco needs to be updated ...
