Shawn
By odd coincidence, today also marks the 29th anniversary of Bon Scott's death. Happy Birthday Tony and R.I.P. Bon!
mjzee
So Geezer Butler's not the only geezer in the band!
DTMX
He was always my favorite one-time member of Jethro Tull who was missing the tips of two fingers on his fretting hand. Of course, it's a very small field of contenders, but still...

AndrewHill
I've also been a Sabbath fan for a long time. Its kinda funny, I was making that Geezer joke to my brother-in-law earlier! HB Tony!

Happy Birthday, Tony! Love his playing. Tony is looking pretty healthy, too, unlike Ronnie Dio, who reminds me of that puppet character on Tales From The Crypt. Shawn
This picture is a pretty good shot of the thimbles that Tony wears on his fingers so he can play guitar. His middle finger is cut off just above the joint, his ring finger is missing the tip. He had to re-learn to play guitar after the accident and has no sense of touch in those fingers...I can't imagine playing the guitar without being able to feel the strings. He was in the band for 2 weeks, just long enough to appear in the Rock N Roll Circus film (although the band was miming the performance). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyzfD0VqDW8 Edited February 22, 2009 by Shawn
