Just listening through about 3 of the tunes posted on the Amsterdam records site - ok, but does not really justify any strong sense that he's the new anti-big band-big band. I've heard more interesting large group writing in a few places (like Hemphill's band CD from maybe 20-25 years ago) - this is a bit new-agey, to my ears - Quote
