robviti Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 i will always cherish the supporting characters he played in mel brooks' movies, as well as his co-starring role in the end, with burt reynolds (never cared much for cannonball). rip king of brooklyn, and thanks for all the laughter. They've hit Buddy! Come on girls! sound clip Quote
Dan Gould Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 I prefer the earlier part of that scene when he demonstrates the dance steps. When you consider his weight, he's fortunate to have lived as long as he did. RIP. Quote
AndrewHill Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 RIP. Grew up watching the Cannonball and Mel Brooks movies. Quote

He did a movie funny titled "Fatso" with Anne Bancroft and Ron Carey in the late 70s that I also enjoy. RIP, Dom. Quote

BruceH Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 A bit startling to hear that he was 75, but he did start appearing in movies in the 60's, so yeah... RIP Quote
