chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 mine, the cover is blank inside w/ no liner notes....strange...its def. an original/// ok so it mentioned Hadley caliman as being interviewed....now he wasnt actually ON any of the tracks, is he? ive pulled most of the discog. info from the songs on this cd from other places on the net and havent seen his name pop up. ive always been interrested in his early records...what they were, etc....the earliest i know of him on record is i guess stuff from the 60s, so.... anyways for some of you in the know, im interested in what Hadley Calimans contribution to this release was, etc....thx! John L Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 mine, the cover is blank inside w/ no liner notes....strange...its def. an original/// Chuck: Did you send Chewy a blank booklet with this CD? You should be ashamed! Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) Chewy got a used disc without the slipcase and 96 page booklet. Hadley was interviewed a couple of times because he was around at the time and was playing with most of the participants in other bands. The "voice over" on the rehearsal was done in real time by Ralph Manza. Manza was the source of the recording - it was made in the actor's home. This is the best photo I could find on the net. He was probably best known for his role on the tv show Banacek. Edited May 11, 2009 by Chuck Nessa Quote
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted May 12, 2009 Author Report Posted May 12, 2009 chuck, would you be so kind to recall in particular what bands hadley was in, i have no idea about his pre 60s work other than his nickname was 'little dex'....i see him play semi-frequently and he is still a bebop master Quote
