Very impressive... she was into it and played for 2 hours...

I'm envious--really dig the new CD, would love to catch her live myself. Thanks for the report, Tranemonk. Was she playing solo w/guitar, or did she have a band backing her? I'd be interested to hear how the new songs came across live without the orchestration (there's a video of her on YouTube from 2008--awful quality, but you still get a sense of the performance--doing "Baby I'm a Fool" solo on guitar, and it sounds great, even without the strings behind her).

She did both.. A lot of solo tunes when she played on guitar or piano... and she had the full band..

She was hot... really funny.. great stage presence... I was very pleasantly surprised...

The lack of strings didn't matter.. might have even added a tad bit of suspense.. Definitely go if you can.... The show here was sold out weeks ago...

I'm getting more and more into this gal. There's a lot to like. She's talented and attractive and there's something about her voice that grows on you over time. iTunes has a five song live set available that replicates some of the tunes from her new album but with small group backing and no strings attached.
