Morganized
Recently ran across this CD and seemed to remember some info. on this board that all of this material had been incorporated into his US domestic releases. Can someone tell me if the material included on Standards is also found on his other releases or if it is material which has not been released in any other format in the states. I have most of Sonny's material and don't really want to duplicate. Thanks for the help!

robviti
and so the short answer to your question is "no." standards is the only reissue of this material in the states. btw, rudy did an excellent job on the japanese 2cd set the sonny clark trio (TOCJ-66125-26) which also features this material. Morganized
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone. I went ahead and picked this one up and it is typical, high quality, Sonny trio material. Nothing out of the ordinary but I think that is what makes him so good,he makes it seem so easy! Good, bluesy, piano work. Thanks again for all the input and help.
