Jazzmoose Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 When some hillbilly does it it's just "meth," but Agassi did crystal meth. Well, speaking as a reformed druggie who spent too much time and money on various drugs in my early twenties, I'll say this: if you've had real crystal meth, this homebrew Hell's Angels shit that passes for meth in this country would hold no temptation whatsoever. There is a difference. Quote
Quincy Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 There is a difference. Now you tell me. When I moved out here many years ago I needed to establish a new relationship with a herb supplier. Found one in one of my classes, and so afterwards I go over to the house he's sharing with others. As I'm heading out about 1/4 oz heavier than when I went in he shows me a "project" and says "look, we're growing a crystal." I look and nod and say something like "cool." I was so young & innocent (no, make that dumb) that I thought it was one of those kits from childhood. I didn't make the connection for a long time. Quote

I don't know what happened to those people, but I hope they're going to meetings now. Quote
AllenLowe Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 (edited) they used to say "speed kills." Don't know about that but I understand the attraction as I had my own little, shall we say, problem, a few years ago, and I'm sure I only had a mild case. Still, stopping was tough. But once you get the taste.... Edited October 30, 2009 by AllenLowe Quote
papsrus Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 As long as we're at it, not speed but I've been on a steady diet of oxycodone for the past few weeks. Doctor's orders. Takes away physical pain, puts your head in a happy place and kind of makes you mellow and chatty at the same time. Lord only knows what I've been saying. Quote
AllenLowe Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 does this mean I can't use your credit card numbers? Quote

Soulstation1 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 There was one thing that always amazed me about Double A. He was either at the top of his game or rock bottom, really no middle ground with him I can't think of any other athlete that could turn it off and on like that. Quote
Dave James Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Did you know a fair percentage of Agassi's hair back in the day was fake. Hair weaves and such. The gilt continues to fall from the lilly. Up over and out. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 Guys at the bar said Agassi had a better tennis career than Steffi Graff No Freaking Way!!! Quote
