View new content isn't going back very far.

I just logged on at 10:30 am or so my time--1:30pm for the board and when I hit "View New Content" I don't get anything posted earlier than about an hour ago. This has been happening for the last few days. What's up with that?

It goes back to the last time you were on.

If you want the whole of the last day, you go to the bottom of the opening page - the one that lists all the forums - and pick "today's active topics" or something like that. It's just above the list of members on line in the last five minutes.

But it doesn't seem to be going back to the last time I was on. And BTW these posts aren't showing up. (Though yours was under new topics or whatever.)
