Ok then, this is a first for me... I'm not going to turn into a semi-pro at selling stuff here, but I've been meaning to do this for quite a while, to get rid of *some* duplicates (I still can't part with some other stuff, though).

I'll try and keep prices low, let me know if you see something that makes you think I'm out of my mind or anything... no offense intended!

Covers are mostly in perfect condition, CDs are used ones, so they have some scratches... I'll try and put comments that seem accurate to me, but bear with me, I'm doing this the first time and have no idea of the business lingo!

Shipping will be at cost.

I will ship without jewel cases (except for the one sealed item, and the TOCJ if you badly need the white tray!)

Payments would be preferred in Amazon or CDuniverse gift certificates, and accordingly I'd prefer to sell several discs at the time.

I only have a free Paypal account, so I'm not sure I can accept payments from credit cards, so I'd prefer going the gift certificate route.

I can't guarantee very fast shipping, but hey, we have time, don't we? ;)

Send me a PM and post a comment here, and in case my PM box gets filled up faster than I can empty up some space, send me an email!

XXXX GONE XXXX

first, something else though...

Bud Shank/Bob Cooper - Mosaic Select 10 (3CD)

I have a used copy (disc 2 has a minor scratch, the box is scuffed as all these Selects are because the cardboard boxes are too large... I always wondered why Mosaic doesn't produce them a little bit smaller... anyway, other than that it's in very good condition and unplayed since I bought it from an amazon marketplace seller for 53€).

So here's the deal: I'll trade it for a new or similarly very good (booklet has to be excellent!) copy of the Lester Young 4CD set, which is readily in print, and costs 68$.

We'd do this just straight, I send the Select, you order me the Pres (or send me your own box).

I'm open for discussion, but I will NOT give the Shank/Coop away for any in-print Select!

XXXX GONE XXXX

Ok then, here we go with the sale...

25$ / 18€ - promo

Curtis Amy - Katanga! (Blue Note "West Coast Classics", has some scratches but played fine the last time I listened to it... this goes for crazy prices on Ebay and Amazon Marketplace... still, if you think 25$ for a less than perfect one is too much, let me know! This had a promo sticker on the front booklet, which I was able to remove, it left only very small traces where it was.)

15$ / 11€

The Grateful Dead - Live/Dead

The Grateful Dead - Workingman's Dead

- get all 3 for 13$/9.5€ -

7$/5€ - old version, some scratches

Bob Dylan & The Band - The Basement Tapes (2CD)

--------------

shipping estimates

(all for stuff without cases, it may get a bit more for the digipacks and plenty more if you want the Dylan w/case, otherwise it would be in the 9€/18$ category!)

1CD (if I manage to stay under 50g) = 1.65€ / 3.3$

2-3CD (less than 100g) = 2.5€ / 4.5$

8CD (less than 250g) = 4.5€ / 8$

up to 500g = 9€ / 18$

(prices to Europe / US etc respectively)

Why would you ship without jewel cases?

Assuming this is a sincere question, it makes sense when you're shipping internationally. It saves a significant amount of postage expense.

Yes indeed - I can ship three discs without jewel case for the price of one disc with jewel case.

Makes sense to me!

I got stuff from other guys here in all conditions and shapes, with cases, without cases, with multiple discs packed into one case, etc etc... all's fine with me!

up again... I got a Pacific Piano Trios set coming to me (I hope... didn't hear from the seller) from ebay soon.

I'd also be willing to give away the new and sealed copy I have in trade for a new or excellent condition Pres set.

If you have any other offer to make, drop me a line!

I really did not realize how much it costs to mail the jewel boxes internationally. I recently ordered some replacement jewel boxes and was struck by how flimsy they were. I guesss they are all fungible to a large extent.

Yeah, there are various kinds of replacement jewel cases, and usually they're packed and labelled and priced the same, but they come in varying quality! That does suck now and then, but still, shipping w/cases can get ridiculously pricy very fast, if it's not within Europe (but even there, you'll quickly note the difference, it's the same price to ship 1CD w/case as 3CDs w/out them!)

Yes... the total lack of interest is somewhat disappointing... can't be the prices, I guess...

Would also have expected some offers for the Shank/Cooper set, but then most here seem to think 80 or 90$ way too much for a Select, while I was ready without the slightest reluctancy to pay that much or more for the ones that disappeared last year...
