My memory is not exact, but I believe that group was in the range of two to four years earlier than 1989. By 1989, I believe he had Sam Rivers and Ed Cherry in his band.

In English it is; "Tunesia" is more or less the Dutch spelling - actually, in Dutch it is "Tunesië". As the language here is English, I've edited the thread title.

I can't answer your question, but I saw this exact line up once. A very lackluster performance.

I could never dig that saxophonist, but it was nice to see Walter Davis Jr. in the flesh.
