kh1958 Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Yes, it's very well done. A humbling experience for sure. Quote
catesta Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 Just finished six last night. "Wow" about sums it up. Quote
catesta Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I finished the final episode. After that I watched the short interviews with and about some of the main characters. The old guys remember like it was yesterday and still get so emotional. It's all very touching. I think the producers and directors really did an excellent job telling their stories. Quote
jazzbo Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I'll watch it on Blu-Ray---I don't have HBO. "Band of Brothers" was pretty darned good, I expect this to be similarly good. Maybe better. Quote
Son-of-a-Weizen Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I'll watch it on Blu-Ray---I don't have HBO. I wonder if it will end up over at the History Channel? Quote
catesta Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I'll watch it on Blu-Ray---I don't have HBO. I wonder if it will end up over at the History Channel? If it does it will be like The Sopranos on A&E and be way too edited up, losing a lot of the punch. Quote
jazzbo Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Yes. . . Band of Brothers is fantastic on Blu-Ray, on the strength of that alone I'd consider getting the Blu-Rays. Quote
BruceH Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I expect I'll Netflix it when it comes out. Quote
