Maybe now. But once the father is no longer his son will probably kick the bucket before long too. Because even though health problems may be still some time away at this age, they will invariably accumulate later.

There are moments when a "parents' drivers license" really seems to be called for.

A sad story, for sure. He seemed like quite a pro with those smokes. Nut-case parents. Did I catch the end of it right - that he's now in the custody of the child care authorities?

But hey, you know how it goes. Smoking this year - next year he'll be drinking booze and having sex. Just a few years ahead of the curve.

At first, I thought this was something straight out of the the Onion.

After watching the video, I am completely disgusted.

Yet another clear indication of how teachers aren't the reason why kids fail in school.

Few things on tv startle me, but the clips of the toddler smoking with smiling parents looking on was repellent and hard to believe. Hopefully the poor kid can get some professional help but I very much doubt it as his parents seemed to be enjoying their celebrity freak show status.

It's hard to disagree with your disgust over the kid's smoking, but seriously, you're blaming this one-in-a-million incident (which is happening in Indonesia btw) on why kids "fail in school?"
