mjzee Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 There was once a mention in a thread, and it's driving me nuts that I can't find it. Re iTunes, and the cover art it displays in the lower left corner of the screen. Someone once posted that if you first drag the artwork for the back of the CD to the artwork field, then drag the artwork for the front of the CD, then you'll be able to click that corner and see both, one after the other (first front, then back, then front again). I tried it tonight and couldn't get those results. I don't know if there's a trick to doing it, or whether it was a feature on an older version of iTunes that's now gone. Does anyone recollect this thread, or can anyone shed some light on this subject??? Quote
Steve Gray Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 One way to do this is a follows :-- 1) Select all the tracks you are interested in 2) Right click and select 'Get Info' 3) Select the artwork tab 4) You can now add as much artwork as you wish, or delete it. If a track has more than one piece of artwork, an arrow appears in the artwork window in bottom left that enables you to scroll between the different pieces of artwork Hope this helps Quote
Brad Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 You can click on the option for iTunes to look for the artwork. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes when it works, it gets the wrong artwork. For example, it doesn't recognize Mosaics. I just go to either Mosaic or if it's OOP to Google, get the image, copy and paste it into the artwork field. Quote

Personally, I like to search (all over the web, if necessary) for the best scan I can find. At any rate, that's not really what mjzee is asking about here. The above thread has more details about advanced options. Quote
mjzee Posted February 2, 2011 Author Report Posted February 2, 2011 This is the thread I was looking for!!! Thanks, Jim! But I'm not getting the promised results (the "clicking on the highlighted arrow in the lower left corner for the selected item" that will bring up multiple images). I simply do not see any highlighted arrow. I've just tried dragging in two images to one album. I have a Mac; could this be a Windows-only feature? Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Hard to believe it's a windows thing. Quote

Do you know for sure that you have more than one image on the selected item? There are different ways of adding images - some add so that you can have more than one, and some replace , so that you will never have more than one image. If you do a 'get info' on the track you will be able to see how many images are attached. If an item has more than one image, you should see that little arrow by the artwork display. I am using a mac as well and it works for me. I never intentionally put more than one image on a track though Quote
