song 2 is "Afreaka"!! okay, that alone makes that lp simply incredible- but i swear the bassist and drummer are fictitious....really? is it really sam dockery and who is billy hayes. is it really louis hayes? Cedars on piano--

it also says c. 1981 but i think it might be from earlier, the recording itself

I think there was another, similar-aged release on Everest, with the same group or nearly the same (after deducing what the names actually are). Not bad sound for a boot. Pretty sure I posted about it, I sold one or both to David Weiss if I recall correctly, in my great unloading a couple of years ago.

No Dan you sold those both to me--wrong trumpeter "Hot Horn" is the other record(same band) on Everest Records. "Extended" is on Phoenix records.
