felser
Looking for Animals - Animalism CD that came out on Hip-oSelect (or the generic "Blues Years" or "Animalism & More" Euro reissues). This was the 1966 US only album release with Smokestack Lighting, Hey Gyp, etc. Only one I see on Amazon is $32, and that's too pricey for me, but I'd like to have it at a fair price. Please let me know of any leads, thx.
GA Russell
This price might be more to your liking - 13 euros. http://www.amazon.it/Animalism-Edizione-Germania-Animals/dp/B002OFANOW/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1305219978&sr=1-

They released an album in the UK named 'Animalisms' which was largely equivalent to the US release 'Animalization'. The tracks from those two are contained on the 'Animalisms' CD. Their next (and last as "The Animals") album, released only in the USA, was 'Animalism'. Confusing as all get-out, I know, just like the early Stones and Beatles albums (and the lesser British Invasion groups). And to make matters worse, the 'Animalisms' CD shows up listed as 'Animalism' on searches.

AmirBagachelles
I never knew The Animals covered The Other Side Of This Life. I look forward to hearing that. Did they cover any other Fred Neil? Who here saw this group back in the day?
