GA Russell Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Correct, Jim! That's a glamour shot of someone I never saw in a glamour role. Quote
ValerieB Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Guess who? judging from the picture, this guy must be long gone! Quote
JSngry Posted October 20, 2011 Report Posted October 20, 2011 Not a musician. TV staple. I cheated. DAMN! Quote
paul secor Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 (edited) I cheated too. Can't believe it! Can't imagine that anyone will get this one. Edited October 21, 2011 by paul secor Quote
JSngry Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 No... Hint - there is a connection with the previous/previously identified "guest". Quote
GA Russell Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Well, judging from your clue, I would have to guess William "Bub" Frawley! Quote
JSngry Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 No...but you're maybe Mertz banked with him at some point... Quote
Dave James Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 Leo G. Carroll played banker Cosmo Topper on the TV show "Topper". I'm going with him. Quote
JSngry Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 No, remember, there is a connection to Vivian Vance...maybe she looked for a job at his employment agency... Quote
GA Russell Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 It was only in the last year or so that I learned (listening to Sirius, I guess) that Gale Gordon was the first actor to play Flash Gordon on the radio (1935). To me, he will always be Mr. Conklin on Our Miss Brooks. Quote
Dave James Posted October 22, 2011 Report Posted October 22, 2011 That's not a very good picture of Carol Wayne. She was a cutie when she did the Tea Time Movies with Carson. I believe she had a sister by the name of Nina who was even more attractive, but in a classical sort of way. One or the other of them was in a short lived TV series I found amusing at the time called "Camp Run-A-Muck". Quote
