LF: Black cardboard cd storage boxes

About a decade ago, I purchased some black cardboard cd storage boxes and now want to get another one. I can't seem to find the ones to match what I got before.

Bags Unlimited has something but it appears they only have it in white. Box racism?

Leeway, have you used the black boxes featured in CD Sleeves? Are they the thick cardboard - heavy duty type? Do they sell it without the individual cd sleeves.... seems they don't?

Do I see boxes like that at Ikea stores? I prefer to keep CDs on open shelves (or more likely in piles on the desk), so I've never checked out the sizing of the Ikea things...

Thanks for the tip, jazzbo. I've just ordered two from Amazon.co.uk...I only wish they cost the same in £ as you can get them for in $!!!!

Sorry, I haven't used them myself. I've bought regularly from Sleeve City over the years, and I recalled they had something like what you wanted. You might give them a call or drop an email regarding your questions.

Cool. I used these when Helen and I were living in Houston during her lymphoma treatment. I spent a lot of time in waiting rooms and hospital rooms so I downnloaded a lot of Grateful Dead shows and then made artwork at night, burned them to cdr and filed them in these boxes. Kept me occupied and not thinking of certain things. They work really well for storage, they hold up pretty darned well.
