ejp626 Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 google killed.............. I don't know about all that (Google+). All I know is that for my needs, Bing searches suck ass. They virtually never return what I am looking for and certainly never on the top page or two. I always have to go over to Google and then usually Google Scholar. (I wouldn't even look at Bing but the IT folks in the office have made it the default -- go figure.) I guess we'll see how it all plays out and if Google rolls back Google+ or not, but I can't imagine ever becoming a fan of Bing. Quote
jostber Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) Agree with the article that Google might lose some users over this integration of it's own apps before others, but the ever-present Facebook could need some competition and I suppose Google aims for that. I disagree that Bing should be better as this owned by Microsoft which started that whole shebang with integrating everything with their own systems. Better use something like ask.com or similar.
