Was just listening to Pandora, and this

song showed up....its on a Classics cd called Complementary tracks....did some googling...couldn't find out any real info on her...looks like she sang on a Count Basie track or two, and with Cootie Williams & His Rug Cutters...but what about her band? How long did she have it? How long was she around the music biz?

fine singer! but: it was long believed that this 25 april 1939 session included lester young in the personnel. that is incorrect, but: is it ernie powell (as mentioned in the liner notes to the "masters of jazz" lester young vol. 1 series) or most likely kermit scott (as mentioned in the w. bruyninckx vocalists discography)?
