jeffcrom Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Back in the day I bought a sealed copy of James Blood Ulmer's Tales of Captain Black on Artists House. My copy didn't have the booklet that was supposed to be included. While, of course, I would love to have an original copy of the booklet, I would be perfectly happy with a photocopy or a scan. Can anybody help me out? Quote
jeffcrom Posted November 19, 2012 Author Report Posted November 19, 2012 Done - thanks, Mr. Sangrey! Quote
jeffcrom Posted November 19, 2012 Author Report Posted November 19, 2012 No holiday tunes, ok? You got it. Quote
romualdo Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 interesting - didn't know it came with a booklet (we're talking about the LP, right?) My LP (gatefold) has no booklet either - maybe only the initial pressing came with that Quote
robertoart Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) Here's an online scan of the booklet for anyone else that might be curious. Including the infamous 'harmolodic guitar clef Any insights welcome. Also this interesting recollection from one of Blood Ulmer's ex-students. It has some good writing about the difference between street musicians and the academy. http://www.myspace.com/theelectricson/blog/495500705 Edited November 19, 2012 by freelancer Quote

I think all the Artists House LPs had booklets - someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe we both got pressings from that day when Stevie at the factory was hung over. Quote

I've got the Waymon Reed, '46th & 8th', which does have a booklet The gatefold is left-handed, the record is in the left hand side, when you open it in a normal manner. Are all Artist House LPs like that? MG Quote
