J.A.W. Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 I don't know if this has been posted before; I did a search, but didn't find anything. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/12/arts/music/joe-bihari-who-put-early-rb-on-record-dies-at-88.html?nl=todaysheadlines&emc=edit_th_20131212&_r=0 Quote

J.A.W. Posted December 12, 2013 Author Report Posted December 12, 2013 Difficult to discover but it was buried here: Thanks. I did a search with "Bihari", but got no results. As far as I'm concerned this thread can be locked. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 (edited) I am grateful for the link to the NY Times piece. I had missed it. Edited December 12, 2013 by Chuck Nessa Quote
paul secor Posted December 12, 2013 Report Posted December 12, 2013 I was surprised that The Times obituary played up the fact that the Bihari brothers gave themselves writing credit on songs and that the family still controls the publishing rights to those songs. Often times, when someone dies, the dirty laundry is buried with them. Quote
