romualdo Posted January 13, 2014 Report Share Posted January 13, 2014 Solar records (part of the Andorran stable) have recently released the "complete" April 15, 1961 Concertgebouw concert 7 titles have been previously issued on LP (Italian Musica Jazz) & 9 on CD (Magnetic) This release adds 2 previously unreleased titles I presume this will consist of broadcast recordings - poorer quality than if it was a Dutch Jazz Archive release - they most likely would have the original tapes A real pity - I hope this doesn't stymie the Dutch Jazz Archive from issuing this properly Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And I don't think so, since those Dutch Jazz Archive sets seem to consist not of widely bootlegged usually (and this one was, as you said yourself - I got parts of it from dime years ago - the nine tracks part, not sure if the other tracks are around, but since those Spanish/Andorran labels regularly grab stuff from dime, it would only be fair to bring this back there, then).
