Teasing the Korean Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 My copy of "Tjader Plays Mambo" is a stereo OJC reissue on red vinyl. There is significant distortion on certain tracks on my copy. Is that how it was recorded, or did I get a defective pressing? Quote

I can't imagine it is the pressing; OJC pressings from that period that I've had are always very good. But you never know. Quote
mikeweil Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 Spinning my OJC CD right now, no distortion at all .... The only vinyl issues I have of some of these tracks is the stereo LP Fantasy 8019 Latin For Dancers, again, scratches as these are used and hard to find, but no distortion. Quote
