Hardbopjazz
Anyone here have a kalimba? Is it possible to tune it to different keys?
7/4
Can you adjust the length of the key?
Hardbopjazz
The keys are Helden with a little screwed. I'm assuming you would just slide it up or down to change the key. The keys are Helden with a little screwed. I use my regular Piano to make sure that I am tuning it probably. JSngry
That is correct. You can also file the tines if you want to get into at that level, A kalimba is more like a Rhodes than you might think!
page
Congrats on your new instrument, Tom! Maybe you can record something later? I'd love to hear you play it. I have been looking into the autoharp for some time, but they are rather expensive and I won't be able to play that many jazz chords. Still, I might pursue it any way if I'll get the chance.
