Yep .... do prefer the slower tempo of Neumann/CPO giving the music potential to unfold and breath ....

Two albums from this set, both recorded with the National PO in the last years of Stokowski's life:

Like these ouvertures conducted by Horenstein. I am sure i will return to this recording with pleasure. Found a sealed copy but it's a little noisy.

I don't have it on cd/lp but listened on youtube. Maybe i will have a better listen one day.
