Cochard's first Couperin recording covers some of very favourites, like Les Sylvains. Had pulled them along with the Duphly CD.

Her Bach CD will be next. Excellent, too, with another gem of a harpsichord. But oop, the label seems be in trouble.

Aren't them all baroque things with keyboard called organs? No?!

This Bach CD looks good, gotta find it.

The general term for keyboard instruments was "clavier". Of course keyboard players played organ as well as clavicord or harpsichord, to varying degrees. I recommend Siegbert Rampes recent book for clarification:

Note. This is the 1985 version !

Thrilling ! He plays it fast (in Russian style). Sometimes a little, little rushed in the slowest tempo's. Also digestible for me are parts of his recordings of Beethoven. Still want to hear his Sibelius (heard good things about his recordings). Do not like his Brahms and absolutly dislike his Mozart, Mahler.

Couldn't believe my eyes ! 'Three euro find' and plays mint. Box has seen better days but still decent. Not easy avaible. I feel very lucky !
