JSngry Posted September 17, 2016 Report Posted September 17, 2016 Courtney Hafela Productions.it The same person as the Cinematographer on Jazz On A Summer's Day, who was this person? Otherwise, the first real contemporaneous "documentary" footage I've seen of the American "Mambo craze" of the 1950s, and although I don't believe for one second the unrehearsed etc business, still..pretty vivid. mikeweil Posted September 18, 2016 Report Posted September 18, 2016 (edited) Great little film - what elegant, relaxed dances! Today's Casino style dancers look more like they do it for a workout. Edited September 18, 2016 by mikeweil Quote

Thanks for finding the clip and linking it, Jim. Edited September 19, 2016 by paul secor Quote
JSngry Posted October 30, 2021 Author Report Posted October 30, 2021 Up again, to resist the rewiring of the brain to work on 1, 0, and nothing else, especially in between. That analog spine is still gonna be hard to beat over the long haul, so resit! Quote
