medjuck
http://www.ojaifestival.org/vijay-iyer-2017-music-director/ Vijay Iyer is music director of the nearby Ojai Festival 2017. Should I get excited? (I don't know his work but I did go there to see Maria Schneider a couple of years ago and it's a nice location.) Hoppy T. Frog
Just now, Hoppy T. Frog said: So almost all of this festival is on You Tube-- an absolutely incredible lineup, including George Lewis' opera Afterword, performances by Wadada Leo Smith and by the Muhal Abrams/Roscoe Mitchell/Geroge Lewis Trio, a whole evening of Nicole Mitchell's notated works, and more Tyshawn Sorey than you can shake a stick at. Ckick on the top right link for the whole playlist. I am listening to Inner Spectrum right now, so great. Edited April 12, 2021 by Hoppy T.
