Trio 3

Hi all.  This Trio has been discussed elsewhere on this board, but I thought I'd start a new more general thread.

I caught them about two years ago and thought it was amazing.

However, I don't own any of their albums.  Any recommendations on where to start [& for that matter where to continue after I've started]?  These are albums that seem to be available for purchase?

Live At The Sunset - Wha's Nine (2008, Marge France)

Wha's Nine is an easy recommend. I also really like Wiring.

It's the only one i have, but i really like Refraction - Breaking Glass with Jason Moran.

Fwiw Live in Willisau is an all-time great recording. Fierce yet relaxed and the live sound is first rate. I've had it since I found it in Crazy Rhythms in Montclair, NJ back in 1997-1998. I saw the group live at Shea Auditorium @ William Paterson College in Wayne, NJ. They were superb as they have been every time I've seen them. The last time was with Vijay Iyer a couple of years back @ Birdland. Fine show which could have done without the piano.

all these years later I live right down the street in Wayne!!

I just picked up their most recent on Intakt, VISITING TEXTURE.  I don’t think it will convert the unconvinced but it’s good.
