Cyril Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 Jazz from the streets of Europe (nr. 2) Avignon, France It's too bad the CD only lasts 29 minutes which equals about the length of a street concert. The music of Jacques Lyprendi, Thomas Kretschmar, Philippe Tchumak, Benoit Torres and Vincent Glaziou is a nice fusion of Gypsy Jazz and French musette.... Quote

jazzbo Posted August 4, 2017 Report Posted August 4, 2017 This Blu-Spec CD2 again because I'm trying to figure out why "Don't Blame Me" is hitting me as a "masterpiece" this week. I guess it's the attitude--right from the start Sonny grabs you and starts telling the story and then Jim replies with his tale and . . .this is a great listen, and so well captured on tape. Quote
