Don Hunstein 1928-2017

The great photographer Don Hunstein who made many memorable lbum covers for Columbia Records (including Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Billie Holiday, Glenn Gould, Duke Ellington...) died on March 18. He was 88.

Saw and loved many of his covers over the years. Never saw a photo of him until today.

Interesting that he worked in 35mm film. Proves one more time that the film size isn't everything. A good eye and a good lens matter way more.
