URL question

After I have posted a comment on this board, when I click on the URL, I usually get a URL which includes at the end the page number.  But sometimes after the page number I also get the comment number.

How do I ensure that I always get the comment number?

Not sure if I understand the question, but since you can post from any page in a thread, you'll be returned to that page. In other words, if you post a comment on the first page of a 15 page thread, you'll back to the first page, the page from which you posted. Or if it's a one page thread, there will be no page number.

Jim, yes.  But when I get the page number plus the comment number at the end of the URL, clicking on my posted link will take you to my comment with no need to scroll down.

OK, Scott!  How did you do that?

Just click on the weird looking symbol to the right of the post. It will pull up the exact link, then you can copy and paste it.

You can do it that way, but if you hit the "share this post" button it will provide a link for you to copy and paste.
