Larry Kart Posted June 25, 2018 Report Posted June 25, 2018 My stepson Sawyer at the Fogg Art Museum on Saturday -- Leaders, past and future. My son Jacob making modular synth music, at which he's very good. Much of his work can be found at Bucketbrigade on Soundcloud. My late wife Jeanne in the late '70s or so, flying a kite (she was very good at that and at just about everything -- a world-class potter eventually) . My wife Julie and me at Tanglewood several years ago. Quote
Larry Kart Posted June 25, 2018 Author Report Posted June 25, 2018 In 1976: Jeanne, Jacob, and my late mother Ruth Julie (after I recommended that she should stop coloring her hair) and Scout the wonder dog Me a month or two ago, just to be honest. Baby, the rest of the family. Quote
JSngry Posted June 25, 2018 Report Posted June 25, 2018 That's a life right there. Have you been regularly mustachioed in the past, or is this a new look? No matter, it works well with the suspenders. As my ass continues its devolution into negative land, I am increasingly using suspenders myself. Quote
Brad Posted June 25, 2018 Report Posted June 25, 2018 Very cool photos. I was never a big suspenders fan. Call it vanity, but I get my hair colored. I hate gray. Quote

Moustachioed since November -- tried it before many years ago but didn't stick with it. Suspenders for the same reason you use them; devolution of ass into nowhere, pants won't stay up with a belt, no matter how much it's tightened. Actually, for some reason I look far more haggard in that "honest" photo (above) than I really do these days; the contrast between how I look in in that photo and in the one from Tanglewood with Julie maybe five years before kind of shocked me. I think the "honest" one (a selfie) must have been taken on some very grim winter day. Certainly the two of us were having a good time at Tanglewood. Some ofJulie's many moods: 1) In the morning (have no idea about the meaning of that purple bandage) 2) At Anne Hathaway's cottage 3) At a high school basketball game; we go fairly often because Sawyer is a member of the pep band, plays alto sax (very good, too) Quote
HutchFan Posted June 25, 2018 Report Posted June 25, 2018 (edited) Great pix, Larry! Thanks for sharing! I guess I'll share a few too. My wife Lynet and I just celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary by motorcycling up to North Georgia, where we rented a small cabin for four days. No TV. No internet. No mobile phone. We were UNplugged. Both the motorcycling and relaxation were outstanding. Here's a couple pix from a moto-ride. It rained on us a bit, so Lynet is kitted out in her rain gear. Here we are relaxing on the porch of the cabin that we rented: The view from the porch was nothing but TREES. Here's a 180-degree panoramic shot: And here's a recent pic of our kids: Left to right: Aaron (with typical smirk), Carrie, Jacob, and Elena. We're celebrating Aaron's birthday and Jake's graduation. Family & friends. Music. Motorcycling. That's what I like best. 3 hours ago, Brad said: Call it vanity, but I get my hair colored. I hate gray. I'm too vain to get all my gray colored!
