Are there any?  I haven''t come across any expanded cd issues.  But there must be more material from many of the sessions.

The only ones i've come across were four tracks on a Musica Jazz cd.  Two duets by David Murray and Dave Burrell, one track by the WSQ and one by the Clarinet Summit.

Interesting question .... to my knowledge all CD reissues were contentwise same as the LP's ....

Is kind of curious, especially for the CD issues of previously LP-only (pre-CD) dates.  I mean, not that every session would have had alternates or outtakes, but you'd have to think that at least a few of them would.

I'm sure there have been alternates. The question is what has/did the label do with them?

Chuck once posted here that many of these sessions were artist-produced.  In those cases, I'd think any outtakes/alternates would be in the possession of the artists.
