TCM is showing Kubrick’s WWI classic tonight. If you haven’t seen this, you must. One of the best movies ever made, imho.  The movie was banned in France for years. Kirk Douglas and Adolphe Menjou are magnificent.

Thanks. It looks to be out of stock on Amazon. Will have to look elsewhere.

An absolute classic.  The closing scene is as memorable and moving as any I have even seen in cinema.

And great clip put up Ghost of Miles.  Kubrick made 5 minutes of screen time feel like two hours of pure terror and hell.
