Big Al Posted March 12, 2004 Report Share Posted March 12, 2004 CD Universe has the following Fleetwood Mac remasters available for pre-order, being released March 23: Fleetwood Mac Rumours Tusk I've never been too big a fan of the first two, but Tusk has always had a special place in my heart, as I've always enjoyed the work of Lindsey Buckingham, and this seems more like an extended solo album of his than anything else. It, like another favorite double album (XTC's English Settlement) has a feel of being a work-in-process, rough and unfinished, without the polish that came immediately before and after. Plus, I've never liked it that the current CD only has the edited version of "Sara" on it. (that's another thing: I usually don't care for Stevie Nicks; however, I think her strongest songs are on this album). As if the RVGs and LPRs weren't eating away at my wallet........
