undergroundagent Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 Hey Folks, Do any of the Blue Note, Jazz Standard, or Village Vanguard have a dress code? It doesn't mention it on their websites. Thanks! Quote
Pete C Posted April 10, 2004 Report Posted April 10, 2004 No dress codes, though I suspect footwear is appreciated. Do clubs in Toronto have such a thing? Quote
robviti Posted April 11, 2004 Report Posted April 11, 2004 (edited) no dress code to speak of. on the other hand, you're going to see professional musicians craft the art of jazz right before your very eyes. why would anyone dress like a slob for such a special event? this remark isn't directed at you personally, but is instead directed toward those who disrespect musicians in this and other ways (i.e. talking during shows, acting rowdy, etc.).
