Pim Posted June 30, 2025 Report Posted June 30, 2025 I was streaming this on Spotify and though I was enjoying the music a lot I was really annoyed by the bad sq. Was this recorded so badly or is this one of those Spotify mistakes? Anyone with the cd here to check? Quote
mikeweil Posted July 1, 2025 Report Posted July 1, 2025 This one? I cannot imagine a Steeplechase release sounding bad, especially since it was recorded in Copenhagen. Quote

I thought maybe someone round here could confirm Quote
Steve Gray Posted July 3, 2025 Report Posted July 3, 2025 What is the nature of the problem you are hearing? I didn't listen to it all but there were a lot of tinkling bells on one track I found irritating. Other than that it sounds ok on amazon music IMO Quote
mikeweil Posted July 3, 2025 Report Posted July 3, 2025 Maybe it is the source or transfer of the streaming service? Quote

But you’re post confirms that’s its probably the streaming quality of the files on Spotify and not in the record itself. I have even stumbled on a track that skipped multiple times on Spotify a few months okay so it’s an occuring problem and probably the reason some people choose Tidal or Qobuz Edited July 4, 2025 by Pim Quote
