romualdo Posted September 22, 2025 Report Posted September 22, 2025 enjoying this recent JIB release (#4 from the contemporary Jazz Now series) The Dark Days Quartet (named after a James Baldwin text of essays) perform James Baldwin inspired improv & composed material Pat Thomas from the group "Ahmed" on ivories with Cleveland Watkiss on loops & recitation/vocals (extracts from the Baldwin essays).
