Posted September 17, 2015 Report Share Posted September 17, 2015 I recall back around April 1 (not sure of date) Berkshire shut down website ordering "while closing the retail shop and moving to a new warehouse". (One could fill a cart but not actually order).Time dragged on, and the last e-mail I received was mid-June, with no real progress. I feared Berkshire had completely shut down, so I e-mailed them today.This was the response:...While the website has been 'open for business' since 8/25, there are somany bugs that need to be squashed, we haven't yet sent out an e-mailannouncement. We hope one will be forthcoming within the next two weeks.Meanwhile, please feel free to order through the website. We're not yetable to accept phone orders. That should happen in about one week. They're the most insanely useful resource for retail online musical discovery that I've yet to encounter, even if they do pack their stuff which what must surely be a maniacal cackle of OCD. Larry Kart Posted September 18, 2015 Report Share Posted September 18, 2015 I placed an order on Aug. 26, after they said they'd come back to life. It hasn't arrived yet. I got in touch with them by e-mail a week or so ago, and they said that they'd received my order but were still having some problems getting back in gear and I should sit tight -- this said in a pleasant manner. I'll wait. Heaven knows how much I've bought from them over the years. My guess is that they received a glut of orders from Berkshire addicts like me when I placed my order.
