  1. AY AY AY AY CANTO Y NO LLORE!
  2. I'll take that as a "yes, Lowe, you can do no wrong by us. Please continue on your self-destructive path. -Love, Weizen, JAW, COUW, Englewood, and the rest of Organissimo"
  3. I have a question for the gatherers here - as far as I can tell people have gotten bored in other threads with my personal vendetta(s); that's all well and good. I like to bore people. Question is: can I continue the vendetta here? or is this too coherent an idea? (I'm going to sleep now but will check your responses in the morning) -
  4. I'm happy to leave as many threatening messages as possible for as many people as need them - unfortunately half the people on Organissimo have blocked my PMs -
  5. actually we got rid of ours and bought a Kenmore - or less -
  6. couw didn't like me - Englewood doesn't like me - JAW (I think) doesn't like me - could it be me? or are they just jealous of my brilliant smile? the shine on my shoes? the careful way with which I part my hair? my name on the Vietnam war memorial in DC? My Oreck vacuum cleaner? or my appearance on that infomercial for that light switch that sticks anywhere?
  7. I must push this to the top of the list - THIS ONE'S FOR YOU, WEIZEN
  8. I think I'll be spending a lot of time here -
  9. it's funny, whenever I see Al Cohn, I remember Don Shlitten telling me, when I worked for him in the 1970s, that he'd only known one musician who was an actual grownup - and that was Cohn.
  10. why is everyone ignoring me? could I be the last man on earth?
  11. I'll just put Cliffie's restraining order in the file with all the others -
  12. something tells me I'll be spending a lot of time here -
  13. good question - I think they're just jealous of my 18 vacation homes - or is that John McCain?
  14. I like this thread - let them complain about me now -
  15. Saturday Night and Sunday Morning?
  16. I'm so bored - I sure miss him - I wonder, does he miss me too? Will he forever recall our days beyond recall, our nights in Columbus?
  17. geez, now that I can't play with Cliffie Englewood, I may have to start coming here -
  18. it's the time, too - triplet arpeggios, eight notes -
  19. gurnish is probably gar nicht - yiddish, I think, for "nothing at all", depends on the context - I'd have to hear the record -
  20. re- Baby It's You - a stupendous solo and, Joe, listen again, it's very boppish, no surprise, considering Buster Smith's influence on Bird -
  21. Benny played nice alto - but too neat; it's like a head with every hair in place. No sense of danger (to mix metaphors) - same problem with his arrangements -
