  8. Many of the films so far mentioned are great, but made before color became an almost universal medium; i.e after the sixties. A very recent good one is In Search of a Midnight Kiss.

I've just been listening to an old Lee Konitz 10" Vogue LP called Jazz Time Paris, recorded during the Kenton orchestra's 1953 tour and featuring a backing group of Henri Renaud, Jimmy Gourley, Don Bagley and Stan Levey. IMHO this is some of the finest Konitz I've ever heard (bearing in mind it's the 1950s Konitz that I like), so the question arises: has this ever been released on CD, or am I in possession of a rare treasure?
