Up at Minton's is my favorite Turrentine, but I certainly haven't heard them all. The Parlan/Tucker/Harewood rhythm section and Grant Green are a big bonus for me.
Late example in the classic hard bop/soul vein: Horace Silver's 1996 The Hardbop Grandpop with a four-horn front line of Claudio Roditi (trumpet), Steve Turre (trombone), Michael Brecker (tenor) and Ronnie Cuber (baritone).
I've never owned a Dick Morrisey album, but used to see him play in the sixties, particularly at the Bull's Head at Barnes in West London. "Storm Warning" recently got an airing on BBC radio.
