  16. indigos is an interesting recording for me. sometimes it grabs me as starkly beautiful, and other times leaves me cold.
  17. i am never without an artie vinyl very close at hand.
  18. today was cecil's 79th. i just finished listening to 9 hours of gorgeous cecil. his music gets ever more beautiful as it ages. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FifmQoHpPTM not much cecil here, but his spirit is all over it.
  19. adding to my great delight was finding that most beers contain very little salt.      a pint or two of bell's stouts every night is a sinful, but healthy pleasure.
  20. it was me. high bp caused a very mild stroke last summer. i bought a bp monitor, and started, over several months, checking what raised my bp. i find that 2500 or less milligrams of salt per day and lots of vigorous exercise twice a day and at least 5 hours of sleep per night have allowed me to discontinue blood pressure meds. i am almost entirely in the 110/70 range now without medication. i rarely eat fast food and have cut my quantities of food significantly.
  21. aloc, as well.    an aloc most favorite vinyl for many many decades.
  22. mike, one of wnur's very hippest jazz deejays playing some very fine 1969 jimmy lyons. http://www.wnur.org/ jazz every week day until 1230pm eastern.
