  1. The answer is posted on his home page. I tried to paste the answer below on my phone, but the format is messed up. >>>> Charles Lloyd OK: The photo was taken at the 1966 Newport Jazz Festival. The matchbox was created in Tokyo, 1967 for the Blue Note Modern Jazz Tea Room. The photo is by the great Hozumi Nakadaira who created Dig and Dug where you could go hear great jazz. He still has Dug Jazz Cafe. I have been inspired by Hozumi san to walk the ryokan trail before I leave town. Congratulations to Eleni Bouboussis and Naoko Tamura for their answers. >>>>
  2. It doesn't show up on the Uptown website. I found this there on a discussion list: >>> Re:Don Joseph - "One Of A Kind" Sorry for late reply. Hopefully, the Don Joseph will be issued as a Cd early next year. Thanks for your interest. Bob Sunenblick >>> Unfortunately, that was 5 years and 5 months ago.
  3. He seems to be very much under the radar. Here's an old post that states he taught at the University of Toronto (see post from 9/29/2011): http://www.organissimo.org/forum/index.php?/topic/66517-charlie-parker-at-birdland-1950/&page=2 There's no Robert Bregman currently listed in the staff directory at the University of Toronto. Here's what appears to be the wedding announcement of his daughter from 2002: http://www.nytimes.com/2002/10/13/style/weddings-celebrations-nicole-bregman-robert-young-jr.html It looks like the daughter might live in New Jersey.
  4. It was mentioned elsewhere, which is how I found out about it. It's been out for a while. I got my copy about a month ago.
  5. It's the invisible clown! Don't remember what it was. How about this one?
