The matchbox was created in Tokyo, 1967 for the Blue Note Modern Jazz Tea Room. The photo is by the great Hozumi Nakadaira who created Dig and Dug where you could go hear great jazz. He seems to be very much under the radar. Here's what appears to be the wedding announcement of his daughter from 2002: http://www.nytimes.com/2002/10/13/style/weddings-celebrations-nicole-bregman-robert-young-jr.html It looks like the daughter might live in New Jersey.

It was mentioned elsewhere, which is how I found out about it. It's been out for a while. I got my copy about a month ago.
