I have been using a combination of shelves for jewel boxes and drawers w/sleeves for cd storage. I have used the case logic sleeves, similar to the discsox sleeves since the late 80s. Some of my older, rarely played discs seem to have a "haze" to them on the playing surface when I have removed them from the sleeves to play. This does not seem to affect the playing of the discs, but makes me wonder if I should change sleeves or go to a slim-style case system. Has anyone using sleeves noticed this? They have been in the upstairs bedroom, along an interior wall for most of their lives, under normal household conditions... Thanks, jw

No the Prophecy I ordered just has 5 tracks. The Bells came in the "box" on its own disc of 20min. There is a Bells/Prophecy twofer available, but since I had Bells, I just ordered the ESP Prophecy. I hope I will enjoy the two 1970s live discs I ordered (Nuits/Riviera). I think Spirits/Witches & devils should be good too. It is a re-issue with a funky cover from 2005, I think on Breathless(?), but still has just the4 tracks. (Also snuck in the Village of the Pharoahs by Mr.Sanders on the order....) Too many discs, too little time... jw

Alright, great... the snowball's rolled. Just ordered Nuits, Prophecy, Riviera, Music healing force and Spirits (witches/devils) from cd universe. I will never read this board again. jw

The Abraxas ESP box has Spiritual Unity/Bells/New York E&E/Spirits Rejoice, no Prophecy. I know, I know, I need it all, but it starts to snowball and then .... jw (some of them, Hilversum/Vibrations are hard to find/expensive, etc..)

What do you all think of some of the last live dates by Ayler? The water reissue Nuits and the newESP Riviera date? I went ahead and picked up New Grass. Is Healing Force worth picking up or are some working versions in the HG box I picked up (haven't listened yet)? Would you all spring for Prophecy or are there enough versions on HG? Great, now I AM obsessed with this, and there goes the $100 self-imposed limit... jw

Not to end this discussion, as it is enlightening, but I took the plunge today. Had a 30% borders coupon AND $24 in the "holiday bonus reward" money they offer, so I got both the ESP box and the Holy Ghost box for less than $110, tax and out the door... Now to find time to listen... Thanks again, jww

"Hi, organissimo, long time listener, first time caller..." I am curious as to what you all would recommend as the next purchases for one expanding their Albert Ayler collection. I have the 2cd Greenwich Village and Love Cry. Enjoy both. I have about $100 or so to spend and was wondering what to get next. Holy Ghost box? ESP studio box? Slugs Saloon? others? Let the games and flames begin. jw
